Horizontal automatic molding pouring line



In July 2019, we provided two automated casting production lines for a sewing machine manufacturer in Zhejiang, China, for the casting production of sewing machine shell castings. The sand mold was mainly formed by wet sand through automatic horizontal molding machines, and the core of the sand mold was coated sand. With an automated tracked pouring line, the sand mold was automatically transported and dropped, achieving a large degree of automated casting production, By reducing labor costs and increasing the production capacity of castings through mechanical automation, the yield of castings has also been steadily controlled. Overall, this is a very successful application case of automated modeling equipment.

In the early stages of cooperation, we designed and planned the production workshop of the casting enterprise, and drew detailed drawings. After reaching a common final plan with the user, we provided them with a quotation for the overall equipment required. After negotiating the price, the user provided the molds required for our horizontal automatic molding machine, and we led the user to the nearby factory where we used our model, By providing the new user with a detailed understanding of the usage process of the automated casting molding equipment and utilizing its horizontal automatic molding machine to shape and pour sewing machine casting samples, the concerns of the new user were addressed and fully recognized, leading to a successful cooperation.

Under normal circumstances, during the day, the operators automatically shape the sand molds and place them on the tracked pouring line. At night, they pour all the sand molds again to avoid the peak period of industrial electricity consumption, which can reduce the electricity cost for the casting enterprise. When there is a high demand for production capacity, automatic molding and pouring are carried out simultaneously.


In the entire casting workshop, two horizontal automatic molding machines are equipped with two sets of track type pouring lines, which are distributed according to the design of one horizontal automatic molding machine and one set of pouring lines (one set has three track type conveying lines). The transportation, pouring, and cooling of the sand mold are reasonably distributed and used alternately. During the sand mold pouring process, due to the gray iron (HT250) casting material and the control of pouring speed, We do not need the frame sleeve and weight iron of the sand mold, which is also the reason why we use this production casting line;




Sewing machine shell casting production



The model of two horizontal automatic molding machines is Z6171 (610mm x 710mm), with two sets of track type casting lines with lengths of 42 meters and 46 meters, respectively, used for automatic molding of sewing machine castings of multiple types and sizes. The casting effect of the sewing machine produced by our equipment shows a casting yield of about 94%, and the weight error of the casting rough embryo is between 0.3KG.
